Happening?
The Healing Project is a series
of therapeutic events sponsored by the Cancer Wellness Foundation to give
cancer patients, survivors, their families and cargivers an
emotional outlet to express how they have been affected by the
disease.
The Tile
Mural Tiles handpainted by cancer
patients, their families and caregivers offer an artistic
opportunity to express their cancer journey. Patients painted over
200 tiles in the fall of 2008 for a second emotional mural that was just
unveiled at a ceremony and reception on February 12,
2009.
About 100 people attended the unveiling at the
Montgomery Cancer.
